We have used Lubna Channo to prepare our income taxes for two years now. Prior to that, I was on overseas assignments for nearly ten years, and my employer utilized KPMG to prepare our income taxes due to the multiple countries that taxes had to be filed for, income equalization, etc. It always seemed very mechanical to me, and KPMG never once sat down to understand our situation for us to manage our taxes better.

Normally I am the guy who would do his taxes using one of those self-filing tax preparing software packages you can buy just about anywhere and get it done with minimal cost but uses a lot of time and aggravation, and you wonder if you got everything that you are entitled to get back.
